Fox Fiesta -Fox Book Project
Well, there's no party, but they are made using the lasso tool in PS! (Not sure what that part had to do with anything, but it beats calling the post "Lasso Tool Foxes".)
Oh, and it's still for that project.

Sunshine in Dark Days GIF Process
Very bad process. Just had some of the individual files laying around, so some steps are missing. Grey scale was not used in this picture. It was just an after thought to add. Original here : http://www.elioliart.com/2013/03/sunshine-in-dark-days.html

Backgrounds and semi-Matte painting
Top : ELI
Bottom: OLI
First time doing some semi-matte painting techniques. There is always room for improvement. Mainly used some pictures of leaves/brush to create more detail or depth. We do not want to use so much of the actual photos to create something, but rather use some to enhance the pictures that we couldn't do otherwise in a short period of time. It is all in trial and error, and experimenting as well. It was kind of fun!

"Bright Fields"...and process!
Quick color sketch (top) the final image was based off of.
I kind of liked the colors in the sketch better, though.
Number 36 was used in the dry media section of PS CS6. Sometimes, just one brush is all it takes.

OLI's Ideas 1
We think it's about time we put some of our "messier" drawings up here once in a while. Some of these drawings came out of the blue, and some not. Hopefully you will enjoy some of the ideas that come out of our heads.
First up: OLI's batch.
I called her "Dino Girl" because, well, she turns into a dinosaur and travels back into time to meet her favorite creatures. Original? I think not!
Oh, and this could be her dog.
As for this one, I just started out drawing a little doodle, added a blue color, and there you have it: A blob...thing.
Blobby.
Blob...
..BUT, this gave me a good idea. Why not make the rest of the ROYGBIV spectrum?
And you get...
Whatever they are. I'll admit, they're a bit too Osmosis Jones-esque, but their designs are sure to change over time.
They have powers, I guess.
I just have to throw in some random color blocks for good measure.
This image above is for a personal project of mine. Yes, we may be twins, but we have separate ideas too. ;)
Gryphon/griffin however you spell it...
And his rider. No, she is not that character from Game of Thrones. I swear I made her hair color like that before that show was even out!
Here's a space city inspired by animals. Okay.
I struggle with perspective and architectural-like things, and even though this might not be the most complex thing out there, at least it's something I don't usually do. I would really like to improve on that this year.
Prepare to see more updates like this in the future!

Rachel Explorations
I had to take a picture of these since our scanners need a bit of fixin'. Not the best of quality, especially when the lighting is not how you want it to be. Oh, and no Instagram. There are some things to fix with this, but it's too late now.

Her name is Rachel...
I'll stick with that name. She's based off a sketch I did about three years ago. I'm still trying to find the right look for her.

"Dance With Me" Poster Concepts
Just felt like doing some mock poster designs of the DWM concept my sister has going! These were done really quickly, so forgive the proportions. Just mainly testing for color. Hoping to aim for a theatrical feel! - OLI

Take Off
Wasn't too crazy how this came out. Thinking I am going to go more ambitious in coloring and layout for now on for my other illustrative pieces. - ELI
